The quill feed is by a hand wheel, not a lever; I've read somewhere that wheel feed is better for brass and that is 99% of what I work with.

7,571. Sep 11, 2017. #10. The factory Millrite belt (and good quality replacements) work just fine on those mills. They do not even need to be tightened, just snugged to work without slipping. They run smooth and quiet. The massive fasteners used for swinging the head to adjust the belt are way overkill for the job.
